KING OF TOORO KINGDOM VISITS THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA

H.M King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, King of Tooro explains the World Monarchs Summit concept to H.H Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

His Majesty King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, King of Tooro Kingdom visited the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as Special Envoy of H.E the President of the Republic of Uganda from Monday, 30th December 2019 to Sunday, 5th January 2020 to deliver an invitation for The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Abdulaziz to the First World Monarchs Summit scheduled for September 2020 in Kampala, Uganda.

The King was accompanied by Her Royal Highness Kemigisha Olimi Best, the Queen Mother of Tooro Kingdom, His Highness Prince Baguma Jonathan,the Principal Private Secretary to H.M the King of Tooro, Mr. Engadu Moses Micheal, the CEO World Monarchs Summit and Technical Advisor to H.M the King of Tooro, Mr. Sseruwagi Habiibu, an Officer from Office of the President and Mr. Kakama Ivan,the Charge Dí Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of the Republic of Uganda in Riyadh.

The King and his delegation were received by the His Highness Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Tuesday 31st December 2019 from 3:00 pm at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters in Riyadh in a ceremony that was colorful and well attended.

The two principals exchanged pleasantries and the King handed over the invitation which was co-signed by himself and H.E the President of the Republic of Uganda to the said summit.

A brief presentation was made by the CEO of the World Monarchs Summit to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and his delegation. The King of Tooro concluded while looking forward to a positive response from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the eventual success of the Summit
