PUBLIC NOTICE 19: REPATRIATION OF STRANDED UGANDANS IN SAUDI ARABIA

Public Notice on Repatriation of Stranded Ugandans in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Riyadh, 19th September 2020: The Uganda Embassy in Riyadh in coordination with the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Uganda in Jeddah has arranged another special repatriation flight for registered stranded Ugandan nationals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, tentatively departing on Monday, 28th September 2020 from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.

Important to note;

1.         Alltravelers are responsible for the cost of their travel.

2.         Thisflight is for only those who can meet the costs of private quarantinefacilities as prescribed by the Ministry of Health in Uganda.

3.         The flight will only be undertaken if the planeis filled to capacity before departure therefore travelers are encouraged tobook this flight now.

4.         Deadline for booking and confirmation is Saturday,26th September 2020.

5.         The Embassy is not able to waive any requirement indicated in the standard operating procedures for any interested traveler.

6.         All travelers are encouraged to take the PCRtest after confirmation with the travel agency.
