I am having technical difficulties submittingmy application

There are a number of things that could becausing you problems. Please ensure that your computer meets the minimumconfiguration requirements.

Only an internet browser is required. All majorbrowsers are supported. Please verify the release of the browser is the most upto date.

If your computer meets the minimumconfiguration requirements and you are still having technical problems, thenthis could be a web browser or firewall problem. Check your internet securitysettings - if they are set too high, they may be blocking access to the Ugandaelectronic Visa/Permit web site. If that doesn't work try applying from anotherbrowser/computer. Finally, some ISPs may be blocked due to spam concerns, andyou may have to contact your local internet service provider (ISP) forassistance.

If the system will not accept your passportnumber, try entering it in without any spaces between the numbers.

If the system will not accept your phonenumber, try to enter it again, but do not use any brackets such as ( ) orhyphens - or spaces between the numbers. Only numbers and the "+"character are valid.

If the system will not let you go to the nextpage, the system may have found an error in a required field (such as aninvalid Character, skipped a field, etc.) You will not be allowed to continueuntil these errors have been corrected. If a mandatory field (indicated by ared *) is not filled in properly, the system will continually return you to thecurrent page.

The system WILL NOT accept special characterssuch as or accent marks - even in a name. Use only the English letters, with nospecial punctuation. Please enter the name as it appears in the machine readablezone (MRZ) your passport. This is the two lines of text with numbers andchevrons () at the bottom of the personal information page with the passportbearer's picture.

If your computer freezes up and will not letyou continue, the problem is most likely with your browser or your computercapacity. You may need to use a different computer.

If you are receiving an error message that says"Cannot apply twice with the same passport for the same visa or permittype (same passport number, same document type and same issuing country)"it is because you have applied previously and your application is beingstudied.

If you are still having technical problems, please click on "Contact" fromthe global navigation menu. You are required to have an email address for us torespond to. If you do not, ask someone who does to help you. Be sure todescribe exactly what is happening (in English), and tell us what internetbrowser you are using and its version.
